Greetings at work we use Inventor for modeling structures. I've been wondering if Revit would be useful to us for shop drawing creation. I know we could use it for general layout drawings, especially if they are drawing that were to show the structures in the context of the architectural plans/sections/elevations. But we mainly work off of shop drawings, since we are a Design-Build company. I think it's worth the effort to explore how well Revit could fit into our workflow, what benefits it would bring, such as generating info for quotes. And I'd like to explore ways in which Revit and Inventor can be integrated/consolidated in Design-Build. ANy suggestions are welcome, in the meantime I'll try to educate myself on Revit and ask questions on this forum, any help is always greatly appreciated.
